HUMANITY
INTRODUCTION

Humanity is committed to Incubating existing businesses for a fast track maximum output when, and if, human sustainability is prime and integral to their products or services. Taking an approach that considers the impact of business on environment, health, nutrition, communication, transportation, education, and technology transfer so that positive results will be maintained also in the longer run human productivity and plentiful wholesome resource pool-- without human or physical waste or undue exploitation, as an ideal– is imperative to Humanity.
When a business,
[A] that has only a blueprint , is fledgling or advanced, is clearly committed to a breakthrough within this context,
[B]needs financial resources that can be well defined to evolve to market worthiness or win defined consumers ---including Humanity's assistance or engineering a market demand if human survival is at stake ;and
[C]may or may not benefit from “complementary technology” (i.e. additional technologies, devices, concepts, or catalysis---in Humanity's possession or access) and
[D] is open to the human-focused managerial advice - and our Equity participation, Humanity may want to step in.
The fifth requirement is profitability in a monetary sense within a period of five years.
The state of humanity today requires a few necessary achievements within a period of 5-10 years in order to survive. Each of the paramount areas that may contribute to survival is a business, if done right--which is what we intend to do within Humanity's staff or , preferably , with the actual movers and shakers of each project---all of whom have been at least partially identified for purposes of taking off with the following . It also appears that public, UN and government could not amass the combination of continuous care, sense of mission, correct assessment of knowledge required and available ---and profitability.
Humanity will undertake the realization of the following projects, which while not guarantying the survival of man, will contribute to it in measurable impact as well as justify investments for investors' pockets.
- Alternative Fuels.
The requirement for cheapest and non polluting fuel cannot be exaggerated even on political grounds alone. The danger presently includes an influx of Asian made vehicles into the climate cycles of earth may trigger irreversible punitive process to the human race.
Our special call is for two kinds of fuel. One is made of grass or leaf waste, using IP available from 6 academic centers and innovative sensor based retrofitting to existing refueling machineries in vehicles. The second is hydrogen based electricity based on existing pieces of IP yet to be applied. This may produce a more intensive, high yield, fueling systems for aircraft and power stations.
- Unique Products mapping and bringing to market.
Foods and medicine seem more and more to rely on disparate, highly processed, fairly indirect or even contradicting impacts on the human body and mental capacity. What Humanity wants to change in a few years is to rely more --but not only-on third and second world local business production of a set of locally sourced, least processed natural products, wholly integrated in impact but drawn from various fauna and flora [some totally marginalized by over jumping to modernity in the South as well as in the North], based on oriental and other native legacy of health, yet tested by canons of modern impartial science and standardization as appropriate. There is a body of fugitive knowledge, i.e. waiting to apply in all of these realms. What needs to be done is to create a proper business structure from selection-testing- analytics- sourcing-manufacturing- packaging and marketing plus accompanying focused education- thoughtful unlearning in order to produce a new consumer climate.
Unique products mapping and bringing to market i.e. cultivating skills, requires a fast pace of training and business structuring, so that less developed countries, regions in post-communist countries, and poor areas in all countries, can find their potential of competitive edge. What is at stake here are potentials for fauna, flora, materials, food preparation legacies, construction strategies ,native medicine etc, that have been marginalized or totally overlooked by the prevalent, and fairly uneducated, planners maintaining that the South must copy the development of the North. This idea that dominated the Colonial era, still controls the minds behind economic planning and leadership, leads to “mental slavery” among business and leadership in the South, and exports only a fraction of what could come from the better part of world productivity.
The advantages of going to unpolluted sourcing and native -catalyst ownership are: 1. enlisting new types of private-public forms of diversified business; 2.getting to health and nutrition pools that are totally unexplored commercially or are in very early stage but carry a discontinuous --due to colonialism and western ignorance-definite legacy that may become a base for the newly awakening markets of the vegan, naturalist or organic consuming west.
- Waste recycling and multi modal environmental sustainable systems
While a great deal is published and some serious industries emerge in this field or fields, there is a body of documented potentials that are not yet realized. Examples are embodiments of minimally processed organic waste combined with special purpose nutritive fillers in order to revolutionize outputs of fertilizers; construction of road and housing ; developing certain outside/garden/public furniture and even inside fixtures utilizing last 10 years or so innovations in patterning ,pressurizes and condensers as well as material science and design.
Humanity may pick up to three of these potentials that yield themselves to easy manufacturing and design, having established their safety of transition to healthy functioning and at the very same time solving problem of accumulative waste in key urban centers.
- Ecumenical curriculum for interfaith dialogues
It appears to any person committed to human survival that the present lack of communications between Islam and the rest of humanity is not a marginal issue. No conceptual mode, products or educational procedures are available to work with or purchase even though the market demand may unfold sooner than later because ecumenical organizations, sane Muslims and organized religion may put up resources.
The situation will be much better if we can create awareness in high schools and elementary schools that a choice needs to be made about what kind of people we want to be with and who we do not want to be with. Humanity is not concerned with differences in race or religion. We need to accept the differences among people. Those who cannot agree that openly accepting such differences is a desirable way of life are the major problem in the Middle East and elsewhere.
This is something that needs to be driven very carefully into the minds of people. Teachers and guides of young people need to have the skills and training necessary to face an evil that does not accept human differences. They need to challenge these evil ideas and keep our way of life safe from their pernicious influence. We don't think that Europe or America today has figured out how to accomplish this. The price we will pay if we don't start now will be devastating--which is one message to drive to market when efforts are systematically taken up and products are becoming ready.
It is indeed a bigger challenge to work on these issues within the prism of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia , where the educational system of Islam nurtures and supports a radical persuasion that is contrary to tolerance.
First we must deal with the commonly held stereotypes of Jews and Moslems. As the previous steps materialize, the imperative of imparting this type of tolerance will become clear, and we will have to devote effort to (a) educating teachers, (b) creating curricula, and (c) finding creative and persevering methods for approaching and working with children and adults in the world of Islam. The importance and necessity of this cannot be overstressed. Therefore, the very fact that we do have Muslims among us, who must be, and in fact are, worried about the possibility of an ugly future is a good starting point for developing the right contents with the best qualified proponents of tolerance and reconciliation.
In practical terms these are the Four Groups of Projects:
1. Videos about evil, which elucidate its roots in ignorance, establish new understanding, and create new latitudes of perception of the antecedent causes of the current enmity and conflicts in Middle East politics, can dramatically illustrate the consequences of proceeding down the current path.
2. Videos about Islam interpreted to support moderation and reconciliation, produced by Muslims for both Muslims and non-Muslims.
3. Textbooks and media for didactic purposes to systematically help students in beginning and advanced stages of social and political development see win-win alternatives and how to achieve them.
4. Planning task forces for productive economics which reach across State borders and transcend regions to create profitable cooperation locally and globally.
The Humanity projects should all start at about the same time, unless we co-opt a few ongoing or later independent experimentations, which will reinforce their synergistic impacts and coordination with each other. Each group of projects will be managed by three professionals, who will already have been identified and will include one Israeli professional, one Palestinian or other Muslim professional, and one other professional person with a deep commitment to the themes of win-win. All will be erudite and experienced in their particular domain of the effort. We expect a degree of failure in each project and should not underestimate this possibility. Therefore, each project will be a stand alone effort, independent from the others, but all will be periodically overseen and coordinated by the board of directors. The sales and marketing effort will be handled by a specialized international team of experts already partially identified
5. Fuller utilization and licensing of what might be called “Fugitive Technologies”.
These treasures are Intellectual property that lost its appeal in a specific field but can be applied in other, undiscerned by its originators, new productive arenas. Fugitive Technologies include also many, in the public domain, that for reasons of change in information science, mechanical take offs recomposed material sciences etc. over the past 40 years or so - can now be rejuvenated for profitable business. As only about 90% of recorded patents worldwide have reached commercial application, this potential is phenomenal. Aided by licensing scholars [e.g. LESI, Japan 's MITI officials, and numerous insights and expertise from the thriving military technologies, i.e. the so-called “dual perspective” applications. These are also part of the “fugitive technologies” opportunity. A rich body of insights, recorded processes and analyzed failures [Applying" the success of failures" principle], collected in the course of military industrial conversion to strictly commercial markets, and the war against terror--are also valuable niches in carrying out this effort. It promises an excellent ratio of effort to profit.
Certain perspectives of practicality
Humanity will have to map its options as soon as funds are available , but its objective is to first realize the above 5 areas of concern , for the simple combination of a promise for contribution to human survival and the well reasoned expectation for profit.
The key additional reasons to move on with Humanity approach are
The knowledge backing the projects is international and transnational and will benefit humanity as a whole, thus becoming a well timed instrument in making globalization work for all involved[for a change];
The leadership involved in Humanity has the access and the relationship to pick and choose the best of fugitive knowledge or complementary technologies to allow if not induce the best combination of products , services , markets and cross impacts in the respective fields selected;
Any expansion into new areas of investment or consideration will benefit from the relatively short time span of expected effort - to- results strategies elucidated above.
No field of relevance to humanity will be excluded, even if it is in the more esoteric areas for profit seekers such as education and learning. We will, however, do it for profit as well.
